Very nice innkeeper, the food was excellent. We had a stag, roladen and a knuckle. I can happily recommend the inn.

Because cheff is very friendly, the relationship is on zak :) the food is perfect! We ordered different dishes at lunchtime and everyone enjoyed it. If you are around here you should treat yourself to a meal here :)

Here you can eat super delicious, especially the venison ragout and the pork knuckle was very tasty. The service is very friendly. We would love to come back.

My wife Manuela and I have been regulars for years and we can only say: Taste, price and performance are absolutely top class! Keep it up and you won't get rid of us.

We went to the Goldener Engel inn for lunch yesterday. I wanted to order a Wiener Schnitzel and cream sauce and a dumpling. Then the landlord told me that you can't eat it, I should eat something else! That's how you scare away your customers! I then ordered a Wiener schnitzel, chips were unseasoned and not crispy, you could eat the schnitzel. I wanted to order a dessert and the waitress said: "Today there is too much going on, unfortunately there is not today". We all ordered a coffee that came without milk. At the neighboring table I saw that the people had a dessert that was the top hammer !!!! Shortly before we left the landlord came and made fun of it although it is not funny and actually only disturbed our family celebration. My conclusion: unfriendly and annoying host, incompetent wait staff, the schnitzel was "good". The landlord should definitely work on his behavior, but we will definitely never eat there again.

Very rustic but it can be for a small village like this. The host himself and the staff are all friendly. The food was good, however, not as I am used to in the Weiden area, but this is rather high complaining and related to the roast venison. The selection is typically home-style. The schnitzel, however, what I tried was again good as usual. Why there was a deduction was because we were told there would be no dessert just to see five minutes later how the next table got one. Something annoyed the whole table. Also certain things that are standard for us, such as B. Milk for coffee was only available on request.

Clean, "comfortable" room, family atmosphere by courteous hosts. Very good food. I can highly recommend this inn. :)

Was so far okay - at the prices was not to be expected. Nevertheless, I will stop there again next time.

Today I celebrated my 65th birthday with my family at the Gasthof Goldenen Engel. Uncomplicated preliminary discussions with the senior boss, perfect implementation, always present and courteous service, children's wishes are implemented immediately, all around great value for money. Delicious! If you feel at home straight away, yes, it's getting on in years, but the whole team is hospitable and courteous and children are also very welcome! The food was really good and you can't beat the prices !! Had stayed nearby and ate there twice out of 4 evenings, we never do that ...

Stayed here for a month while working nearby. Overall nice place, great breakfast and dinner. Everything reasonably priced. Owner is a super nice gentleman. Highly recommended!
